The Episcopal Procession to Mount Gargano

A legend about the much-revered Saint Michael Archangel relates how a nobleman ordered his servant to shoot a stray bull on Mount Gargano in southern Italy. The arrow boomeranged and killed the archer. Consulted about this mystery, the local bishop revealed a dream in which the archangel had instructed him to build a church where the bull had strayed.
