Man's Op Art Shirt

During the swinging sixties, John Stephen was the undisputed king of London's famous Carnaby Street, where youth-targeted boutiques sold the gear demanded by the now generation. Fashion-conscious mod young men flaunted trendy, eye-catching clothes that were as revolutionary as the music and art they favored. This shirt's visually vibrating pattern reflects contemporary fascination with optical art, or Op Art, a term coined by Time magazine in 1964.
