Woman's Ensemble: "Mouton" Tunic and "Narrow Embraced Waist" Pants

The late fashion icon Pauline de Rothschild is among the women who inspire Rucci. This celadon and alabaster ensemble recalls the Yves Saint Laurent jerkin, tights, and thigh-high boots that the baroness wore for a Cecil Beaton photograph in January 1964. Rucci's name for the tunic, Mouton, is itself a reference to the Rothschilds' celebrated vineyards in the Bordeaux region of France, Château Mouton Rothschild.
