Vase

Kakurezaki Ryūichi

Japanese, born 1950

Kakurezaki Ryūichi creates a distinct style with his experimental shapes, here adding a sharp diagonal line in the center of the vase. He uses the traditional techniques and glazes of Bizen potters, giving the piece an interesting twist with the dripping effect at the top.
