Artist/maker unknown

Image 1 of 31 / 3

The bowl of this cabasset is struck three times on its right side with what is thought to be the inspection mark of the armorers of Calatayud or Castejón de la Armas, Aragon. It was originally adorned with engraved and gilded copper alloy appliqués at the apex and around the crown and brim.
