Dish
Okada KenzōJapanese, born 1948
Like most of Okada Kenzö's works, this dish combines a large-scale form with delicate details---in this case an abstract design of shapes reminiscent of the kind of "cut-paper pattern" found on traditional Japanese handmade paper. Okada produced the dish at his kiln located in the ceramic center of Mashiko, north of Tokyo.
