Debutante's Dress

During the 1950s and 1960s, the formal presentation of a young woman to society was considered the most conventional of occasions. Although pastel shades were acceptable, white was the traditional color for debutantes' dresses, which were worn with long kid gloves. This classically simple dress has an empire waist and paneled skirt with short train to enhance a youthful figure.
