About
This catalogue traces Pablo Picasso’s exploration and treatment of still lifes from the beginning of his career as an artist, through the development of Cubism and the final years of his life. It was published on the occasion of Picasso and Things: The Still Lifes of Picasso, a major exhibition that was organized by the Cleveland Museum of Art in conjunction with the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Réunion des Musées Nationaux. A chronology of the events in his life is also included.
