Perelman Café

When you’re visiting the galleries in the Perelman Building, stop by our sleek, modern eatery for light fare and beverages.

Throughout July, dishes inspired by the exhibition Souls Grown Deep: Artists of the African American South will be available at the Perelman Café. Crafted by culinary artist-in-residence Nia D. Minard, these dishes are rooted in the food culture of the American South. A new option will be featured each week:

  • July 9–14: Gumbo z’herbes, a hearty traditional Creole stew made with up to nine types of leafy greens, served with rice
  • July 16–21: Salmon cake sliders
  • July 23–28: Turkey wings and stewed okra over butter beans
  • July 30–August 4: Pan-fried fish
