Rediscover the South 9th Street Curb Market (also known as the Italian Market or La Calle Nueve) with Our Market Project. Inspired by the living history of global exchange in artistic practices, food, and culture, this walking tour centers the contributions of immigrant and migrant communities in Philadelphia of the 1900s and today.
This tour will begin at 9th and Christian Street in front of 827 South 9th Street.
Things to Know:
- The tour begins promptly at 11:00 a.m.
- Assisted listening devices will be available during the tour—no need to request one in advance.
- The ticket for the tour does not give admission to the museum or the exhibition A Nation of Artists.
