Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Enjoy a night of live music from People of Earth; drop-in artmaking with artist Linda Fernandez that investigates our sense of identity and home; bilingual gallery talks highlighting Hispanic and Latinx artists in the exhibition A Nation of Artists; and exploring local organizations at our community tabling.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase. Pay what you wish for entry to the museum.

People of Earth is a global music collective that has emerged as one of the most exciting Latin and tropical bands. With an electrifying blend of music from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and beyond, People of Earth delivers a high-energy experience that transcends borders. Through their passion for groove-driven, heartfelt music, they strive to make the world a more connected and harmonious place.

Join artist Linda Fernandez for a creative workshop exploring the stories, places, and experiences that shape our sense of identity and home. Design your own personal symbol and use it to create tile-inspired patterns and compositions that celebrate your individual narrative and draw on the rich tradition of decorative tile design.

Drop-in, materials provided, participants of all skill levels welcome.

Bilingual Gallery Talks: Hispanic and Latinx Art in A Nation of Artists | 6:30 p.m. (in Spanish) and 7:30 p.m. (in English) | Meet in the Great Stair Hall
Learn from Gallery Teachers Dilcia Martinez and José Ramos about two works by Hispanic and Latinx artists in the exhibition A Nation of Artists. These 15-minute talks meet at the Information Desk in the Great Stair Hall. Talks are first come, first served until a capacity of 20 is met.

Charlas bilingües en las galerías: Arte hispano y latinx en Una nación de artistas | 6:30 p.m. (en español) y 7:30 p.m. (en inglés) | Punto de encuentro: Gran Salón de la Escalinata
Acompañe a los educadores de galerías Dilcia Martínez y José Ramos para explorar dos obras de artistas hispanos y latinx que forman parte de la exposición Una nación de artistas. Estas charlas de 15 minutos comienzan en el mostrador de Información del Gran Salón de la Escalinata. La participación es por orden de llegada y está limitada a un máximo de 20 personas.
