Join us for a curator’s perspective on the exhibition Marcel Duchamp. Matthew Affron shares insights into curating the first major U.S. retrospective dedicated to Marcel Duchamp in more than 50 years. The exhibition traces over six decades of artistic production from an artist who was associated with Cubism, Dadaism, and Surrealism. Duchamp became one of the most innovative and original figures in the history of modern art, yet he remains impossible to consolidate under any singular label.
